Black Family Day 2019

Black+Family+Day+9.jpg

We celebrated Black Family Day in true Gulf Coast form at Johnson Beach, named after Rosamond Johnson, an African American teenager killed in the Korean War. For years, this was the only beach that African Americans could enjoy amongst the once segregated Gulf Coast beaches.

Johnson Beach set the stage for an awesome event. Our committee did an amazing job planning and executing this Jack and Jill tradition.
